      I have always been willing to support and guide vulnerable people whether it be adults, children or elderly. I’m hard-working, reliable, experienced live-in carer and have caring and friendly approach to work. I have always been passionate about my work therefore working in this field taught me many important skills, also given me a valuable grounding in the skills required to deal with challenging yet rewarding situations. I am a positive, bubbly, happy and easy going person. I genuinely enjoy caring for others and believe it is my calling rather than a job. I feel if there was no currency, and everyone done what they truly enjoyed, this is what I would be doing. Jobs such as care work and other humanitarian jobs, are the only ones in my mind which are real. I have experience of 4 years in special needs child care, although my experience is different, it does not take away my enthusiasm to work at the other end of the spectrum of care. ...

I have cared for my mother when she was terminally ill, and worked with an elderly lady who simply needed companionship and some reminders to help withmedication, etc. I have been a Home Visitor, shopping, collecting prescriptions, making meals, etc, and a Support Worker in a college for young adults with learning disabilities> I have also done a lot of cleaning work! Please see my CV for relevant qualifications/courses. I like the countryside and animals and would be most happy help someone living a fairly rural location.
