I am a naturally friendly, and empathetic person, and after suffering from anxiety and depression, I found a way to control it, to enable me to lead a calmer, and more peaceful life. It's because of this, that I'd like to put my new-found patience, and relaxation techniques, to good use, and give back something to the most vulnerable, and forgotten about people of society - the elderly, and the disabled. I have no professional experience in care-work, but I have looked after my disabled mum for a number of years, and I'm quick to learn, and eager to get stuck in. For the past year, I have taught yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation for a living, but due to financial constraints, I wish to begin work as soon as possible, preferably on a live-in basis. always joyful, enthusiastic, happy to help and efficient in my work. I have an experience as a carer for 4 years now, including working in hospitals as a student nurse. so I have learned to do my work to the best standard. I have just finished my course but I have a month before I start my official job as qualified nurse. It would be great to continue caring for people in other settings and at the same time keep myself financially able.
