I'm not a qualified care worker or nurse but I'm taking care of my boyfriend's mother who lost her sight 5 years ago. This includes showering, dressing up, applying makeup, styling hair, taking her for walks, preparing meals, support with medication and helping her with anything she needs. I've been doing this for over 6 months now and although I enjoy it very much, I don't get paid for it and thought I would find a job as a care assistant.
