I am proud to say that i have been working as a door to door care worker for the past 14 years. I am passionate about pursuing a new adventure as a live in carer. I can hand on heart say that I am a very trust worthy person. Staff at 2 different care homes can vouch for this. I use the person centred approach with my clients. I am thorough, efficient and always looking to boost morale as many service users can feel despondent and in despair. I am non judgemental and I work with clients who have various disabilities such as dementia, cancer, diabetes, blindness, bed bound, learning difficulties to name a few. I think it brings reassurance to the client if you are always looking to better their situation the best way i can. I enjoy taking them to extra curricular activities such as reading clubs, swimming , art classes, museums, cinema etc. Also take them to church or the Mosque. Whatever they want as long as it's safe and doable keeping in mind the Health and Safety Regulations. I'm always gentle, caring and patient and promote independence where possible. I also enjoying cooking, ironing and keeping the home clean and tidy. I am happy with either self employment or PAYE. My desired amount per week is £900 - £1400 Minimum 3 month contract.
