Hello, I believe anyone who offers care, should treat others with utmost respect and dignity, much like in the way they themselves would want to be treated. I am highly empathetic, caring, disciplined, respectful, supportive, empowering, understanding and kind. I have experience in working in a private elderly care home, as well working with wheelchair-based younger people, performing all the necessary tasks and services, including personal care. I am an ex-strength athlete and have strength to lift. I never imagined I’d use the acquired knowledge on my 74-year old mother, but that’s exactly what happened this year, when my mum was diagnosed with her cancer in January 2024. I moved in full time for 8 months to care for her, manage her medications, diet and health. We’ve gone through treatments, tears, pains, the aftermaths, and I’m happy to say I led her to a full recovery.
