I enjoy the satisfaction of helping vulnerable people within their homes and giving them a sense of independence. I believe this job role gives you a sense personal achievement as you are giving back to the community in a sense I believe my best attributes are most likely my communication skills. I feel this is a vital skill needed in this trade of work as elderly usually have little to none options of family and friends they can talk to and feel companionship.
I have had some experience as a live in carer so I do have some experience of dealing with elderly and vulnerable. For instance I have giving personal hygiene care to elderly women within their own homes.
