I am a positive caring individual with over 25 years experience in Health and Social Care. Although I am based in the southwest of England, where I was born and raised, I am prepared to travel further for the right position. 
I have a diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care; level 3 in Assessing Competence in the Workplace and NVQ Level 2 in care. In addition, I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts and Humanities. I have the ability to converse with any individuals under my care and those that are involved in their medical care including Consultant, Dr, District Nurse, Pysiotherapist etc
My experience includes but not limited to Early Stage Dementia, Late Stage Dementia, Brain Damage, Stroke, MS, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Systems Atrophy, Enteral (PEG) feeding, Learning Disabilities and General Care. Whilst employed by a Domiciliary Care Agency, I both taught and assessed other carers. The last 7 1/2 years have been spent caring for a Lady with Brain Damage which entailed rehabilitation, personal care, meal preparation, social needs and appointments.
I have a clean driving licence and hold an Enhanced Level DBS.
