I consider myself to be a good candidate for the position of a live-in personal care assistant. I have worked for a year in a care home for senior adults. I also have over two years experience as a live-in carer, a post I have found to be enjoyable, educational and rewarding. It is very important for me that I can change someones life - it is very rewarding for me. It was also main reason that I have became a carer again after eight years.
I have had very good feedback from residents and clients (being called "a star", "splendid", "he's fantastic" etc.), team members and team leader.
I am a patient, calm and friendly mannered person, with a wide range of interests, with a natural, caring and supportive attitude towards people. I am gentle and kind but firm (if necessary) and well-organized - I find myself very confident with running a house. I don't interfere with someones life-style - it is easy for me to adopt. Clients appreciate my natural approach and show it back towards me.
I love to cook - I consider myself as a good cook. I am also a confident and safe driver. Clients confirm it.
I am honest, with good sense of humor. I am an active sportsman, I like horse riding, cycling and swimming.
Summary I believe I will be an asset to your care team, and I look forward to being given the opportunity to contribute my skills.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
