I'm an enthusiastic individual who is keen and capable to work independently, or as a team member, in diverse and social environments. I'm comfortable communicating with members of the public and can work under pressure – skills I have developed through years of care work.
My main skills consist of being a strong communicator, being flexible and adaptable, and a quick learner. I am I.T competent and open to any further training that would improve one's work understanding and abilities. I am respectful of peoples properties, and mindful of people's needs for personal space but acknowledge the requirements of observation, in particular with persons who lack capacity and who may have a diagnosis of dementia. I have had care work experience in residential homes, on a hospital ward, and privately in the home of the client. Through my years of care I have developed an understanding of the importance of a holistic approach to care and the ability to personalise and adapt to ones care needs.
