I am an exceptionally hardworking carer. Over the years I have provided excellent care and support services to individuals with different needs including those with physical disabilities, older people with cognitive impairment, people with acquired brain injury and those learning disability. I started as a child carer for my father who had a stroke when I was thirteen.
My experience with adult social care services helps because of the knowledge and experience of working as a care manager, understanding complex medical conditions that lead to physical disability such as Multiple sclerosis, Stroke, Huntington disease and others.
I am driven by kindness and empathy. For the last twelve months I have been working as a self employed carer (live in and live out).
My strength include empowering people to develop their own strength, feel better about themselves, achieve their outcomes and improve their overall wellbeing.
