I have worked 30+ years in teaching, sessional I have worked in Residential Care and in Support Care to the elderly and vulnerable. Over the last 4 years I have looked after my elderly mother and had caring responsibilities for my brother who had Multiple System Atrophy. Both have passed away earlier this year.
Prior to Teaching I worked as a Psychiatric Nurse and I have always been involved in someway with elderly vulnerable people. For many years I have through parochial volunteering visited the 8 Care Homes around Bearsden and Milngavie and I am also involved in visiting the elderly who belong to my local parish.
I am very fit and healthy, I have my own transport and I enjoy working and caring for others. I am very patient, reliable, loyal and hardworking.
