I am looking for a position as a live in carer/support worker. I am hard working, caring, compassionate, flexible, careful, responsible, observant and a kind person. I am an active listener and an effective communicator both verbally and in writing. I am eager to learn/improve my knowledge in line with the requirements of the job for the benefit of the Service User and the organisation. I am a team player who can also work alone when required to. I am able to write reports/updates concerning work, and I can use different organisational technologies to update about my work. I also believe that there is always room for improvement, which requires an open mind to be continually learning. I currently work with adults with learning disabilities and mental health challenges. Walking is my exercise of choice. Reading and watching documentaries are my hobbies. I am not just seeking employment, but a chance to enhance and apply my skills to people who really need them.
