here’s a little description of what I believe in and what I have done for my grandad. I can work any times u would want me to and work 7 days a week…. Working as a care assistant means making a positive difference in someone’s life. Making a genuine difference in the lives of the individuals you help as well as their friends, family and carers. I would want to be able to support my patients through their treatments and get to know them so they can feel comfortable around me. Also another reason is a few months ago I had the opportunity to care for one of my family relative ( grandad) who was suffering from dementia although this was challenging I was able to build on my observation and person centred care. I would help him with day to day activities such as giving medication on time , taking him out on walks to keep him physically active and assisting when he’s bathing. By working in your care I can gain a lot of experience from other staff members even so on training.
