My name is Goliciu, I am 62 years old and I am from Bucharest, Romania. I have a daughter and I am a single mother, because of this I had to leave the country more than 16 years ago to be able to provide my child with a better life. I went to Italy and started working as a personal assistant at home for elderly people. I realized how useful and fulfilled I can feel when I can help the helpless or sick to lead a quality life. I cared for particularly sick people, dealing with complex cases such as dementia, Alzheimer's, heart attack, paralysis, diabetes. I was totally involved and dedicated, the patients becoming my family. In the last 8 years I worked in the UK - Northampton for a lady who had Alzheimer's, dementia and paralysis. I took care of her until her last moments, and the moment I lost her, I felt like I lost my mother. I still wish to be able to help other people in need with my mercy and empathy and care.
