I enjoy my work as a live in carer making difference in people’s lives. I am have compassionate, empathetic, calm, patient, trustworthy, honest and reliable. I have got a long term experience as a healthcare Assistant. I have worked with different clients and patients in the hospitals, hospices, residential homes. I have worked with elderly, learning disabilities, dementia, disabled, brain injuries, spinal injuries, parkinson disease, people suffering from mental health, palliative care, cancer, end of life, young people, young offenders, people with PEG Feed, diabetes, stoma and catheter care.
I always put clients in the centre of what l do whoch means l involve them in their care while respecting their confidentiality and their privacy, treating them fairlynwithout any discrimination regardless of ther age, religion, culture, sexual orentatio, disability, background ect. I always give clients choses of what they want to eat or wear because they have the right to chose making sure they are safe and that there is nothing that can harm them.
