I wish to apply for the position of Live in carer.
As you can see from my enclosed CV, I have considerable experience of:
Assisting in the implementation of Care plans.
Maintaining the comfort and dignity of clients at all times.
Hoisting clients onto beds, chairs, commodes etc.
Administering medication
Arranging and accompanying clients to hospital appointments and social activities.
Helping clients to wash, dress and undress.
Cooking and light domestic duties.
Having worked as a Live-in carer with large agencies and private clients, I am fully aware how important it is to maintain the comfort and dignity of clients.
For the past five and the half years I have been employed by different Care Agency as a Live in care worker, working with clients in their own homes. During this time I have provided companionship and emotional support to a wide range of clients, utilised my interpersonal skills by developing strong professional relationships with clients and their families.
