My name is Grace Barone and I have been a carer for the past 4 years from 2019-2022. I have worked for 6 clients in total and for the last 3.5 years was a private carer to a client until his death in June 22.

I received my training with a prestigious care company Consultus Care. I am competent in in hoisting and moving, palliative/end of life care, dementia, alzheimers and personal care, hospitals, all of which I have undertaking in the past 4 years. I am a competent cook and housekeeper too and liaisons with doctors, ambulances, taking clients for dermatology appointments, church etc plus also dispensing medication as needed. During covid, I was working alone, hoisting, moving, personal care and all the above.

I have also done respite care for social services.
