I currently work as a Community Healthcare Support Worker worth the NHS. I have been in Health and Social Care for 34 years and have a wide experience of different clients groups. I have worked at St. George’s Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and worked in several care/supported living homes over the years. I have experience of Enteral Feed (PEG), Palliative Care, Catheter Care and bladder irrigation, Insulin administration, Personal Care, Hoist, Incontinent Assessment, taking blood, MUST and WALSALL monitoring, Pressure Area management, Care of pressure sores, Blood Pressure and observations, preparation of meals, Liaising with families and other Professionals, good communication skills, knowledge of safeguarding, infection control, moving and handling, food hygiene, and everything else that pertains to care work.
