I am writing to apply for the position of Care Assistant. I'm 47 with a life time of experience working in both hospital and community.
I worked as NHS Band 6 Midwife from 2008 to 2017, but resigned to relocate from London to the North East to care for my mother who had Terminal Cancer. I was her main carer from 2017 until last year when she sadly passed away in October hence I'm eager to start new employment.
Additionally I developed skills in various live out personal care roles for elderly and disabled clients, during my four years as a Midwifery student.
I am excellent at following care plans, documentation, administration of medication, listening and following instructions. I am cheerful and great company I enjoy the outdoors and rural areas. I love cooking and cleaning and my four children are now Independent adults giving me time to live in if needed.
