My name is Veronica, mature lady with 33years of caring experience. I have a nursing background, qualified as a general nurse in 1996, with mental health nursing and midwifery diplomas.I am currently studying, Masters in Public Health degree. I am an enthusiastic, hardworking Carer who is passionate about providing compassionate, dignified person centered care.I classify myself as a thorough person, a great communicator who gets on very well with every group of people.I accept change as inevitable and I am willing to learn more, accepting corrections for best practice.Bringing a smile on a person's face is a reward for me, so describe myself as a respectful, patient, observant, reliable Carer who is a good listener. I have worked as a live-in Carer since 2016, caring for clients with different chronic conditions, in the comfort of their homes.The clients had Motor Neurons Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Diabetes Mellitus, Blindness , Dementia, some had PEG tubes and Tracheotomies, indwelling urethral catheters and I did Peritoneal Dialysis as well.I have a nursing background so this job of caring is a calling for me.It is my passion and I enjoy it.
