Hi,

My name is MARIA.

I am looking for a live-in carer position as self-employed, preferably in the South of England.
I will be available starting 13-01-2025.
The weekly rate is: £840 - 1120
I am also available for short-term cover for 2 weeks from 21-11-2024.

I am an experienced, qualified healthcare assistant and live-in carer.
I am a massage therapist and a chiropodist as well.

I have been living in the UK, in London since 2018 and, I am originally from Hungary.
I am an intelligent, kind, calm, respectful, reliable, conscientious, precise, loyal, compassionate, honest, patient, friendly, cheerful, systematic, and ambitious individual who can adapt to different situations, and have good technical skills.
I possess strong organizational skills, am a good listener, and have a high level of empathy.

I have trained as a Healthcare Assistant and worked in care homes for six months, followed by six years as a live-in carer.
I have gained valuable experience in providing care to individuals with various health conditions including physical disabilities, cancer, mild dementia, stroke, Parkinson's, cerebral palsy, diabetes, and incontinence, and have used different types of hoists and other assistive devices.

I had the privilege of being a carer to a 103-year-old gentleman for almost a year. He was a minister in the Church of England. Every day we spent together was blissful and memorable.

I often worked with male clients.
Recently, I was helping a 91-year-old gentleman, who was bedbound, with his daily routines.

I am strong and healthy.

I am a UK resident. I have the Right to Work in the UK and am on the DBS update service.

My English is at a good conversational level, and I am continuously improving. My pronunciation is also clear and understandable.

I have three written references.

I am not a driver.

My goal is to help individuals maintain independence in their homes and to promote physical and mental well-being by offering small services such as massages, nail care, haircuts, and make-up.
I also encourage them to do simple exercises.
I provide healthy, delicious meals (including cakes) while creating and maintaining a clean environment.
I treat everyone with kindness, respect, and dignity while valuing diversity, protecting privacy, and respecting individual decisions.

My hobbies:
I enjoy traveling, walking in nature, and spending time on the beach.
I am also interested in reading, learning, and watching documentaries on various topics such as history, animals, buildings, cultures, business, management, health, psychology, the world, and the Universe.
I am interested in learning foreign languages and acquiring new skills.
I enjoy cutting nails, doing massages and makeup, cooking, doing housework, tidying up, and gardening.
Additionally, I like to stay active by cycling, running, swimming, and practicing yoga.
