I am writing this cover letter regarding the opening for a service manager role in your revered organization. My name is Anthony Ekhator, currently working as an Assistant service manager with the Royal Mencap Society with over three (3) years of experience as both a service manager and an assistant service manager. I have a great deal of experience supporting and caring for people living with multiple health conditions and old age-related inadequacies including but not limited to Autism, Dementia, and other impairments and leading a team of about thirty support practitioners who delivers efficient, quality care and support. My duties are but not limited to leading the team towards the actualization of the organizational goals, team building and supervision, conducting investigations, and writing investigation reports etc. In addition, as a trained accountant with attention to detail, I conduct quality audits (Health & Safety audits, infection prevention and control audits, environmental audits, Restrictive practice audits, finance, medication and epilepsy audits)

I stay up to date on the Care Quality Commission, keeping up with regulatory change and development. Able to evidence care delivered by keeping easy to retrieve digital records, review and implement policies and procedures to be relevant to current practices in the service. Blessed with a good skill in reviewing, recruiting, training, retaining staff and setting development plan. A good knowledge of health and safety and infection control, budgeting- making effective use of the resources available to deliver quality care. I am good at writing and reviewing care plans and risk assessment, auditing care notes, undertake mock inspection and capture client success stories. Focusing on improving the quality of life of the people we support and motivating staff.
