I am currently working as a Personal Support Worker for Frantec Ltd where l am exposed to clients with different mental health problems, learning disabilities, and other complex health needs. Working for Frantec has given me a wealth of skills and knowledge in the areas of person-centred care, multidisciplinary team work, risk management, health and safety, evidence-based practice, palliative care, safeguarding children and adults, and infection prevention and control.
My previous job is similar to my current role in many ways and it involved assisting service users to live fulfilled lives, ensuring high standards of safety, wellbeing and quality of life, and providing practical help with daily activities such as cleaning, laundry and food preparation. I assisted clients with activities such as attending sports and engaging in social activities.
