I have a kind and caring nature and will do what I can to make a difference. I have good ideas of new activities and ways of encouraging group and individual tasks to help a patient’s daily program. I have developed my communication skills and feel able to communicate with a number of different levels of people and feel that I am able to relate well to people requiring help and direction in their lives.
I have experience in getting patients up in a morning, making sure they attend their activities and appointments for physio etc. I help out in the kitchen and ensure that patients get the adequate dietary requirements and when patients are in for a respite period I help them to prepare for returning to home and preparing meals and managing on their own initiative. I have also worked on a night shift period and I am flexible on working at different times of the day and night as required
