I have worked in the care industry since 2004 as both care assistant and support worker in various institutions including mental health hospitals and the Priory Hospital in Southampton. Since university graduation in July 2015, I have been working for an employment agency in Manchester as a support worker at Alpha Hospital in Bury where I support both adolescents and adults who experience mental challenges of all sorts. I have also supported clients with autism, dementia and learning disabilities with their own residences. I can confidently say I am extremely passionate about helping others, I'm a good listener, team player who understand the principality of safeguarding the vulnerable. I derive utmost satisfaction from seeing those I assist smile and present a glimmer of hope and satisfaction in my support of their safety and wellbeing.
