During the last 10 years working in the Care Industry, I have enjoyed focusing on the more supportive aspects of care work. I have adopted this approach in helping individuals with learning disabilities to maximise, over time, their abilities and skills to fulfil independent living skills and to maintain general and specific competency.

I have enjoyed fully engaging with clients, helping them to develop enabling strategies in a world that is often difficult to find a voice and to expand those skills and abilities that they possess.
