Working as the Wakefield Team Leader & Course Manager, delivered through Askham Bryan College, I am
responsible for the facilitation and implementation of the Prince's Trust Team Programme. I manage and
recruit team members and staff to deliver an effective and successful 12 Week Programme, leading to national
qualifications in employability, teamwork and community projects. Team has a target audience of NEET's
individuals, Young Offenders and In/Leaving Care individuals, whilst also hitting and providing provision for
young people with severe learning difficulties, homeless and hard to reach. To inflict and influence change on a
young persons life, through careful mentoring and supportive learning; in addition to seeing them progress and
achieve, is truly satisfying and although the role comes with many tough and enduring moments, the results are
positive.
