i have been involved in care since leaving school at the age of 16 i have worked in a variety of settings i first worked in a school as a teachers assistant then in an adult training center for adults with learning disabilities with a mental age of 6 months to people capable of taking driving lessons since the age of 18 i will be 42 in june 2015i have worked with the elderly mainly in nursing and residential homes but i also spent a year providing care to people in there own homes so there carer could have a break this was anywhere from a day to a fortnight i have an nvq level 3 in care i have worked with stroke patients clients with alzhhiemers clients with stoma bags ,dementia,epilepsy,cancer and challenging behaviour
