Job Description

Part Time Private Carer

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Carer to provide exceptional care for an individual with dementia in their own home. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with dementia and will offer support with daily living, ensuring high of care, comfort, and companionship.

Responsibilities:

* Assistance with mobility

* Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.

* Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging the individual in activities to stimulate their cognitive function.

* Monitor and report any changes in the individual's health or behavior to family members.

* Respect and uphold the dignity and privacy of the individual at all times.

Hours/Pay:

* Likely to be 3 set days per week, roughly 9am to mid-day, would be a good option for somone who needs a few hour or just some work whilst kids are at school

* Dependant on Expereicne - £12.50 to £15.00 per hour

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within dementia.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

* Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations calmly.

* Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.

* Relevant qualifications in health and social care (preferred).

* Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (preferred).
