Job Description

We are looking for 24/7 Male Live In Carers for a 50-year-old male, assisting with day-to-day living, previous experience & knowledge of brain Injury & dementia would benefit. Driving licence essential (car provided). 

Rotation 1 week ON 2 weeks OFF.

The client is a 50-year-old male with a brain injury. Mostly independent in personal care, only needs help to get dressed.

The client is unable to talk due to his brain injury, he will write on the phone and also tries to articulate some words to communicate with the carer.

His left side is paralyzed, but he is able to walk with the assistance of an FES machine and a walking stick

A very active client that likes to go out every day, to coffee shops, to walk, cinema, and go to the gym with a personal trainer.

The client has good family support.

The candidate must have experience in brain injury and challenging behaviour and also needs to be an active person. Needs to know how to cook and be a driver. As to be patient, professional, have good communication skills and be proactive, and have good speaking English

You will be working directly for the family.

At the client's flat, you will have your own bedroom. The carer can sleep throughout the night
