Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated live-in Caregiver for a client in Wiltshire.

The position is to start this week. The successful candidate will need a driving licence and a vehicle.

As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in need of care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:

• Provide personal care and assistance to individuals, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs under the direction of a nurse
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
• Manage challenging behaviours and provide behaviour management support
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transportation to client homes
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Experience in hospice care or nursing home settings is beneficial
