Job Description

We are urgently looking for an experienced carer from 31 January 2025 for two weeks.

The client is in Dorset and the rate of pay is £130 a day.

• The gentleman has complex care needs 
• He has non-epileptic seizures (he uses PRN oxygen for this and is able to verbally communicate when he needs it)
• Requires transferring with a hoist or stand aid depending on variable ability to support body weight/lift self.  A full manual handling care plan is in place which is regularly updated by the OT
• Physio exercises are to be completed
• The live-in carer is supported by domiciliary carers four times a day to help with personal care and transferring 
• Tasks also include all meal preparation and maintaining a clean home, feeding the cat and cleaning the litter tray daily 
• The client is a heavy smoker and smokes indoors
• This is a non-driving position

Carers must have an up-to-date manual handling certificate (including a practical course element), as well as a DBS registered on the update service and the correct Right to Work in the UK.
