Job Description

Otus Live - in Care is an agency providing an introduction service across the UK of experienced self-employed live - in carers to our clients.

We are looking for dedicated, warm individuals who are committed to creating an environment for clients where the dignity of each individual is always respected. A key requirement is that you have at least 18 months experience in live in care with a range of clients which you can clearly evidence.

We require that all of our carers have relevant mandatory training including Safeguarding, Moving and Handling, Medication Awareness and an up to date enhanced DBS.

Pay rates for experienced carers start at £100 rising to £140 per day, dependent on the clients needs. In addition full board and accommodation plus travel to and from engagements are included.

Day to day responsibilities are likely to include but not limited to: 

• Personal Care
• Possible support at night
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housework
• Shopping
• Day to day administration to run the home
• Personal Laundry
• Companionship
• Escorting clients out
• Moving and Handling
