Job Description

We have an easy and straightforward process that allows you to easily register with us as a Live-in Carer. You will set a minimum rate of pay on your Carer Profile, which we will circulate to Care Seekers. You will then proceed to negotiate your own rate of pay for each particular client and situation. CHOOSE YOUR OWN PAY RATE – i.e. £714 to £1,130/ WEEK

Our experienced Care Consultants will provide you with excellent and caring support.

If you need further training we supply accredited training from our two Training Centre’s to increase your qualifications and skills in the areas that interest you.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months professional care experience
• Authorised to work in the UK
• A clean Enhanced DBS check and relevant care qualifications

Job Summary:
Live-in care is a full-time homecare solution where you as a carer are required to live with the customer in their own home, seven days a week; and although you will have breaks, you are responsible for the customer’s well-being.

You will need excellent English language communication skills; both verbal and written. One of the most important parts of the role is engaging with the customer; chatting, listening and maybe even helping them with their correspondence.

Living in the service user's home, you'll be there to assist with personal care, manual transfers and maybe administrating medication. You will keep the home clean and tidy and will probably need to do the shopping, cooking and laundry.
 
You will need to have a compassionate disposition, integrity and the confidence to work professionally; and be respectful towards the client, their family and others visiting the house.

Required language:

• Fluent spoken English
