Live in Carer

£785 per week

Manorcourt Homecare is the homecare services division of Healthcare Homes Group, specialising in delivering a range of care packages to people who wish to remain in their own homes.

We are passionate about providing truly person-centred care and support services that are fully tailored to meet the individual needs of each and every person requiring an in-home care package.

Our live-in care team are required to deliver a high standard of person-centred care, administering and recording medication where required and maintaining the welfare of the individual(s). You will be required to live with the individual(s) full-time on a rolling rota basis between 2 and 6 weeks at a time.

We are looking for naturally caring, warm-natured and reliable individuals with strong communication skills who are committed and above all display the passion to help others maintain their independence, dignity and self-respect. As you will be living with the individual it is essential you respect both them and their property and honour their boundaries and choices at all times.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 6 months experience delivering personal care
  • Flexible approach to work and the ability to manage, prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate an ability to ensure confidentiality
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Level 2 health and social care diploma/apprenticeship framework is desirable but not essential as an opportunity to undertake this course will be available
