Job Description

Cityworx are recruiting in partnership with our client for a Head of Live in Care, the Live in Service is outstanding and has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care services. Currently, the Live-In Care service operates with number of care packages our client is now seeking a strategic and driven Head of Live-In Care to lead the service into a new phase of growth and become a national provider of live-in care services.
This position can be based remotely you will be required to be at Head office based in the Staffordshire area one day per week.
Role Objectives:
1. Strategic Growth:
o Develop and implement a strategy to expand the Live-In Care service nationally.
o Identify opportunities for business development and establish partnerships to increase client base.
o Create a strong brand presence and position the organization as a leading live-in care provider across the UK.
2. Operational Excellence:
o Oversee the management of existing care packages, ensuring a seamless and high-quality service.
o Optimize the recruitment pipeline to ensure access to a wide range of skilled live-in care staff, enabling rapid deployment of care packages.
o Monitor service performance and maintain the CQC’s “Outstanding” rating across all live-in care operations.
3. Leadership and Team Management:
o Provide leadership and support to the Service Managers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
o Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration across the team.
4. Client and Stakeholder Relationships:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with private clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
o Actively network within the care sector to identify opportunities and bring in new business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a robust business plan to achieve national growth in live-in care services.
• Drive client acquisition through marketing strategies, relationship-building, and referrals.
• Manage the recruitment and retention of live-in care staff, ensuring capacity for new packages.
• Implement systems to ensure high standards of care delivery, compliance, and governance.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
Person Specification:
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Proven track record in developing and expanding live-in care or domiciliary care services.
• Strong network and established connections within the health and social care sector.
• Excellent business development skills with the ability to secure and grow client contracts.
• Experience in managing teams and achieving operational excellence.
• Deep understanding of CQC compliance and regulatory requirements.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
• Experience in scaling care services nationally.
• Knowledge of digital tools or systems to optimize care delivery.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
