Description for a Female Live-in Carer

As a female Live-in Carer you will be providing care and support for individuals or couples, wishing to remain in their own home for as long as possible. Way Ahead Care is a family run business and has provided care in the local community for over 25 years. We are looking for a female Live-in Carer with at least 1 year’s social care experience. Do you have experience of Residential, Nursing or Home Care? You must be eligible to work in the UK with a good level of English communication, written and verbal.

Offering Live-in Care services throughout the South West our carers are able to provide one to one care for clients with a variety of needs. We have a number of clients just waiting for us to hire more staff so they can start receiving the care and support they require.

We are able to offer you a virtual interview. Accommodation during the initial training may be provided if you do not live in the Somerset area.

A full UK driver’s license would be an advantage but this is not essential.

As A Live-In Care Assistant, your duties will Include:

• Support and assistance with all personal care requirements.
• Prompting and administration of medication.
• Preparing meals.
• Light domestic duties.
• Laundry.
• Accompanying the client to appointments or social events.
