Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate, experienced female live-in carer to support a highly intelligent elderly lady in East Meon over the festive period, from 16th December to 30th December. Placements are available beyond this period if you’re interested in a more permanent role. The role offers £120 per day, with time and a half on bank holidays. A former classical musician, she appreciates a balance of company and solitude, with regular visitors and a love for classical music.

Role Details:

• Location: Quiet village of East Meon, with local amenities including a pub, shop, church, and bus to Petersfield.
• Client Background: Recently recovered from a mild stroke; uses a stair lift and three-wheeled walker. Has lived alone most of her life, values independence, and enjoys engaging conversations.
• Responsibilities: Personal care, dressing/undressing, medication prompts, meal preparation, shopping assistance, and light housekeeping (supported by a private cleaner during breaks).
• Perks: Private bedroom with TV provided for the carer.
• Preferences: A driver with a car is ideal to assist with festive outings.

This role is ideal for a warm, patient carer who can provide respectful support and companionship.
