To enable us to meet our aim of effective service delivery we follow our operational values and principles of care.
Values
We maintain the Convention rights under the Human Rights Act 1998 of the individuals we provide service to by establishing clear and strong communication links with Service Users and Clients.
Respect for their dignity, individuality and privacy, and for their right to make decisions is evidenced in the way their care plan and package is construed after consultations from the Service User, their social worker, next of kin and other relevant health professionals.
We also promote and take account of the following values:

• Appropriate consent of Service User
• Preservation of Service User's freedom of thought, religion, expression, personal beliefs and values.
Principles
Individualised Care respects the lifestyle choice of our Service Users and this is reflected in the provision of service promoting independence and autonomy.
• We aim to provide for each Service User a package of care that contributes to his or her overall personal and healthcare needs and preferences. We work in partnership with other services and professionals to empower individuals’ to achieve their full potential based on their potential and skills and maximize their participation in the community.
• We offer flexible solutions based on the assessed needs of individuals to reflect
Changes in Service User's individual needs.
• Prior to providing a service we ensure that a potential Service User needs and preferences are thoroughly assessed so as to maintain and improve their quality of life.
• The feedback of Service Users and their next of kin are valued and help in the continual improvement of our procedures.
• Ensure the necessary level of training and support is available to our workforce based on the national occupational standards for the care industry set by the national training organization, Skills for Care. All Individualised Care employees and Care Workers receive the relevant training and experience required for their roles.
Your local office is registered with the Regional Care Commission (CQC/CSSIW/SCRC).
Nature of services we provide
We provide Care Workers of the highest caliber, to the private sector, hospitals, voluntary organizations, charities and local authorities. We can provide care and support for the following Service User groups with differing needs and level of care required:

‘Individualised Care support workers
We recognize that for most Services Users the most important people in our organization are the care and support workers with whom Service Users will have regular contact. We take great care in recruiting, training and supervising our workers. Our Care Workers have a wide range of qualifications and experience.
• They have relevant and recent paid care experience
• They are provided with all mandatory up to date training
• They are to be registered on an NVQ within six months of their first assignment
• They are provided with the necessary specialist training
