AlliCare live-in care service, established in 2011, is run by a specialist team covering most of the UK and managed by a group of individuals who between them have considerable experience in understanding and meeting the needs of clients and their families.
Any care provision should operate with understanding and sensitivity to the individual and respect for individuality, but by its nature live-in care requires the highest levels of professionalism and empathy with the client and their family. For us this begins with the first contact and continues throughout the duration of the care service. We never approach the task of selecting and placing a live-in carer with a client as a routine process, but aim to be a source of information, support and advice at all times.
In many cases 24-hour live-in care is a viable, welcome alternative to residential accommodation and trained carers can be provided to respond to specific medical or physical conditions. Our clients set the pace, make the house rules and define the level and pace of care they receive; they remain in charge of their own lives.
Guide to our Services
From the beginning AlliCare works closely with the client and/or their family to discuss and assess individual needs and to design a plan of care that best meets and fulfils them. On-going support and communication ensures that when those needs change, as they inevitably do, the company can quickly respond to those changes and adapt the care plan without delay or distress.
The majority of live-in-care plans include some or all of the following services: •Personal care, including assistance getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, washing, shaving
•Shopping
•Cooking
•Cleaning - basic/daily/weekly household tasks
•Ironing
•Driving
•Collecting prescriptions and other important errands
•Reminding to take medication
•Companionship
There are many different circumstances that cause someone to need temporary or long-term live-in care as a result of accident or illness, disability, age, or during a period of recovery following illness or hospitalisation. Every individual's needs are different.
