Alcedo Care are recruiting professional Live-in Carer’s throughout the North West of England. Packages will be located all across the North West so you must be willing to travel to various locations with the region. These packages will be for various durations and will be various levels of complexity based on your experience. You must have previous care experience to be considered for the role.

Being a professional Live-in Care is a unique and special opportunity to care for our customers in the comfort of their own home. You may need to assist with personal care, cooking, cleaning, shopping, administering medication and moving and handling as well as being a trusted companion and someone the customer can rely on.

What does the role of professional live-in carer involve?

• Helping with personal care tasks, such as washing and dressing
• Medication administration
• Moving and handling
• Housekeeping duties; cooking and cleaning
• Managing medical conditions, specific to each customer

What we require from you

• A minimum of 12months experience as a professional carer in any of the following settings - care home/nursing home/live in/private carer/hospital
• An enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Trustworthy, reliable and punctual
• Right to work in the UK
• Fluent spoken and written English
• The ability to drive is beneficial, however not essential
